Two calculators, no email address required
Both of these answer questions that decide whether marketing is worth doing at all, and both run in your browser with nothing submitted anywhere. Putting a form in front of someone's own arithmetic is a habit this industry should have dropped years ago.

In short
PipelineOS publishes two free calculators for UK trade and service businesses. The cost per lead calculator works out the most you can afford to pay for an enquiry from your average job value, gross margin and close rate. The ad budget calculator works backwards from a revenue target to the monthly advertising spend it requires. Both run entirely in the browser, show their working rather than just a number, and require no email address or sign-up.
Cost per lead calculator
What you can afford to pay for an enquiry, from your average job value, gross margin and close rate. Gives you the break-even ceiling, a comfortable target, and how many enquiries each job actually takes.
Use it when: somebody has quoted you a cost per lead and you do not know whether it is good or ruinous.
Open the calculatorAd budget calculator
Works backwards from a revenue target to the jobs, enquiries and monthly spend required, and flags when the spend is an unreasonable share of the revenue it is meant to produce.
Use it when: you have a number in mind for next year and want to know what it would actually take.

The standard version of this page hides the result behind an email form, then puts you into a sequence. It works, in the narrow sense that it collects addresses. It also means the person who most needed the answer — the one deciding whether to spend anything at all — frequently leaves without it.
These calculators do their arithmetic in your browser. Nothing is transmitted, nothing is stored, and there is no version of this page that behaves differently if you give us your details. If the numbers say advertising is not worth doing for your business, we would rather you found that out here than three months into paying somebody.
